PHP 4, PHP 5 and PHP 7 Support in Shared Hosting
We’ve made the decision not to restrict our present and future customers from selecting what PHP version their websites will be using, so in case you get a shared hosting plan from our company, you’ll be able to choose between versions 4, 5 and 7, not only for the web hosting account in general, but also for each individual domain name hosted by you. This can be accomplished with only one single click of the mouse from our in-house developed Hepsia Control Panel via which all web hosting accounts are managed, which is the reason why you won’t need any technical or programming capabilities. You’ll be able to run websites based on both new and old scripts without having to overcome any impediments, so if you want to swap your current hosting company and move over to us, you can be certain that all the websites that you have created over the years will continue to run flawlessly.
PHP 4, PHP 5 and PHP 7 Support in Semi-dedicated Servers
Even in case your sites were created with an older PHP version, you will be able to host them in a semi-dedicated server account from us, since we support different versions running simultaneously on our semi-dedicated servers and each of them can be enabled for your account with just a click via our custom-built Hepsia hosting Control Panel. Aside from the most recent PHP 7, we also offer support for 5.3, 5.2 and the older PHP 4. The latter has already been abandoned by the great majority of hosting providers, but we maintain that you shouldn’t be forced to modify a website that took several years to create, as older programming language syntax doesn’t necessarily imply security flaws. Just the opposite, an adequately maintained site using PHP 4 can be more secure than an improperly maintained one using PHP 5. For the sake of your convenience, we will also give you the possibility to specify a different PHP version for each single site within the account.
